Our Philosophy

Preserving Traditional Woodcraft

Our workshop follows old-world French joinery traditions, framing structures with oak dowels and mortise-and-tenon connections.

Traditional Timber Joins

We avoid modern nails and metal brackets. Every joint is hand-cut and pinned using traditional wooden dowels, allowing timbers to move naturally and prevent warping over decades.

French Oak Selection

We source seasoned oak logs directly from sustainable forests in Normandy, France. The timber is dried for at least 18 months to stabilize its moisture profile before carving.

Climate Proofing

Every wooden element is treated with natural oils and organic anti-termite mixtures, preparing French hardwoods to withstand Southeast Asia's high humidity profiles.
